V glass jar 580 ml Twist off 77

V glass jar 580 ml Twist off 77 features a cylindrical body in flint glass with a 580ml brim capacity and a Twist Off 77 mouth finish — one of the most common thread standards in European food production. Closures are sold separately; compatible lids are available across the 77 sterilisable and pasteurisable range.

The V glass jar 580 ml Twist off 77 suits wet or semi-wet products packed by water-bath or hot-fill: olives, pickled vegetables, capers, mixed antipasti, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, pesto, tomato passata, pepper sauces, pickled onions, and caponata. Its clear glass body displays vivid colours at the point of sale.

Soda-lime glass withstands hot-fill at 85–90 °C, water-bath pasteurisation at 100 °C and retort sterilisation up to 121 °C with gradual temperature ramps. Always pre-warm jars to minimise thermal shock and cool in ambient air or a controlled tunnel after processing.

V glass jar 580 ml Twist off 77 ships as Pack 25 units, stacked on standard EUR-pallets. The cylindrical profile stacks stably without spacer trays, making it a preferred format for small producers who need efficient cellar storage and direct retail-ready presentation.

Yes. Soda-lime glass meets EN 1602 and EU Regulation 10/2011 for food-contact materials. Glass is chemically inert — it does not interact with acids, oils or alcohols and leaves no off-taste. It is fully recyclable and accepted in all EU glass-collection schemes.
