Dorica Pet Bottle 1000 ml Bertolli is a PET bottle designed for olive oil, seed oils and vinegar. Lighter than glass, it reduces transport cost and breakage risk — key advantages for e-commerce and export. The Bertolli 30/21 or 29/21 neck accepts standard plastic pourer caps for retail convenience.

PET allows some oxygen permeation (oxygen transmission rate ~0.05–0.1 cm³/m²·day·bar), so PET-bottled EVOO is typically given a best-before date of 12–18 months from bottling — shorter than glass. For longer shelf life, use nitrogen flushing before capping and store in cool, dark conditions.

Standard PET is rated for fill temperatures up to 30°C. For warm-fill above 40°C, use HR-PET. For pasteurised vinegar (60–70°C), glass Marasca or Dorica bottles in this range are recommended over standard PET.

Dorica Pet Bottle 1000 ml Bertolli uses a 29/21 or 30/21 Bertolli-pattern neck, compatible with the green and black plastic pourer caps and Guala DOP anti-refill caps in the ThePackStock closure range. Non-refillable closures are mandatory for EVOO in Italian and Spanish restaurant service.
