Rett Oil Can 3000 ml D32

Rett Oil Can 3000 ml D32 is an HDPE or tinplate oil can for extra-virgin olive oil, seed oils, sunflower oil and motor/industrial oils. The D24 or D32 DIN mouth is the standard neck size for oil cans in Europe, compatible with Pet Cup Din 24/32 pourer caps and Bericap closures.

Tin-plate cans block 100% of light — unlike amber glass, which transmits some wavelengths. Light is the primary degradation driver for olive oil polyphenols and flavour compounds. A DOP or IGP producer seeking to extend quality shelf life beyond 18 months should consider Rett Oil Can 3000 ml D32 as primary packaging.

Yes. Headspace oxygen accelerates rancidity. Standard practice for premium EVOO in Rett Oil Can 3000 ml D32 is to flush with food-grade nitrogen (99.9% purity) before and after filling to displace oxygen, then cap immediately. This can extend sensory shelf life by 30–50% versus non-flushed filling.

Rett Oil Can 3000 ml D32 uses a D24 DIN or D32 DIN neck compatible with: Pet Cup Din 24/32 green or black pourer caps; Bericap D24 screw closures; non-refillable pilfer-proof caps for HORECA use. Closures sold separately in the ThePackStock cap range.

Rett Oil Can 3000 ml D32 ships as Pack 10 units at 26.97 € per pack (VAT excl.). Closures sold separately. Ideal for DOP oil cooperatives, private-label oil packers and artisan oil mills. Details at https://thepackstock.eu/products/rett-oil-can-3000-ml-bericap.
